Orange Glory Café and Catering is dedicated to making fresh, natural food that is beautiful and delicious. You can get a sandwich, or soup and salad anywhere. We want you to choose Orange Glory for our inconspicuous flair.
We start with the best ingredients we can find from local markets and many local producers (like Captain Jim's Fish Market and Baker Street Bakery). We change our menu every day, so we can always focus on the best of what’s available.
Our food is familiar but surprising. So, sure, a tuna sandwich, but why not make it a ginger-flavored tuna steak instead of a tired, old tuna salad? Or a Reuben, but try it with turkey (fresh roasted, of course).
We know you’re not just coming for lunch; you want a break, to be pampered, to see friendly faces. Get to know our staff and your fellow regulars. Come see whose art we’re showing on the café walls.
And don’t forget a cookie. We look forward to seeing you, and serving you, soon.
Orange Glory chef and owner Jackie Powers is from Canandaigua. She holds a BA in Psychology from the University of Rochester, and was a social worker before working in many area restaurants. A self-taught cook, she started a successful catering business and was inspired to open a small café after taking cooking classes as Cordon Bleu in Paris.
Bernie Damelio has been Jackie’s sous chef since the early catering days and is a mainstay at the cafe.
